Oljan är varsamt separerad från laxkött (spill från laxfiléer) vid låg temperatur. Salmoil Pet kombinerar de naturliga fördelarna med rå olja med renheten från raffinerad olja. Det ursprungliga innehållet av antioxidanter och vitaminer är bibehållen och smak, doft och utseende är som hos raffinerad olja.
